ATE is one of Australia’s major providers of public transport. Our operation spans the country with businesses located in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
With its beginnings on the Redcliffe Peninsular, in Queensland, we are now approaching our 40th year of operating bus services. Our Directors and Shareholders bring a lifetime of experience, with 3 generations of family based businesses in the passenger transport industry. With 1500 employees and approximately 1000 buses, ATE provides important services to millions of passengers each year.
Whether it is a school bus in Kapunda; wheelchair accessible van in Adelaide; a route bus in Kalgoorlie, or a Metrobus service in Perth, the same commitment to service is delivered by the staff of ATE. It is the dedication of our people to continuous innovation, and our culture of customer service, that has seen our organisation grow to become a successful, home grown, national operator.
Throughout the group we deliver a variety of service types. We are responsible for the efficient delivery of metro services in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane. There are regional services in Western Australia and South Australia. ATE delivers demand response and specialist services for those requiring accessible transport alternatives. We operate school services as well as charter options for groups and organisations. Our logistics team is experienced in providing special event shuttle services. Be it footy services or emergency rail replacement services, ATE has the capability to deliver.
We are innovative in our approach to all areas of the business. Whether it is introducing information systems or new specialist vehicles, ATE is capable of applying best practise systems to ensure safe and efficient outcomes. Operating from over 20 sites, we recognise the importance of being environmentally responsible and are committed to making our business ecologically friendly.
When it comes to passenger transport and the management of buses, ATE offers the total package.
